If you are used to automatic withdrawals from your bank account for Cable TV, life or car insurance, your mortgage, car loan, telephone, gas, hydro or oil bills, then you already understand the principle of PAD-Pre-Authorized Deposit.
If your employer automatically credits your regular pay or pension to your bank or trust company then you are already familiar with the PAD system.
Pre-Authorized Deposits are electronic transfers that allow us to do our banking in a way that is convenient and it assures that our obligations are met on a regular basis.
When donations come by PAD the church enjoys a predictable cash-flow from month to month. Donations placed in the offering plates each week are variable and go up and down with the church attendance.
Withdrawal transactions are made from the donor's account on the 20th of each month or the following business day.
There is no cost to the individual contributor to choose this option of making your contributions.
1. Decide on the amount of your monthly contribution. You can direct contributions to different church funds like General Fund, Benevolence, Building Fund, Missions, etc.
2. Fill in the authorization form (link coming soon) and attach a sample cheque marked "VOID".
3. Forward the form and voided cheque by mail to the church or place them in an envelope on the offering plate.
Participation begins in the month following receipt of your completed form.
Certainly. We encourage people to review their financial stewardship on a regular basis. Any changes are reflected in the month following notification.
